🚨 THE LABEL MOST PEOPLE NEVER READ
“Fragrance.”
It sounds harmless.
But that single word can represent dozens—or even hundreds—of ingredients that companies aren’t always required to list individually.
That was surprising to us.
After cancer, we started paying closer attention to what was in our home—not just our food.
The laundry detergent.
The candles.
The air fresheners.
The cleaning products.
The personal care products.
Because we realized our bodies don’t just interact with what we eat.
They also interact with what surrounds us every day.
One of the first things we began reducing was synthetic fragrance.
Not because we were trying to be perfect.
But because we wanted more ingredient transparency and fewer unnecessary exposures in our home.
That’s one reason we gradually switched to products made with essential oils and started replacing synthetic fragrances with naturally derived alternatives.
For us, it wasn’t about fear.
It was about awareness.
And one simple question:
✨ If I wouldn’t choose to breathe it, spray it, or wear it every day… why am I bringing it into my home?
Small swaps.
Repeated consistently.
Can create a big impact over time.
Because health isn’t only shaped by what you eat.
It’s also shaped by what surrounds you.
