Hey book lovers and authors alike!

So here’s the thing, GenAI is trying to take over our space and so many of us are against it, which is AH-MAZING. I’ve also had to leave soooooo many book groups on Facebook lately because of the increasing use of posts and photos created with AI. It sucks because I was enjoying these groups, but I didn’t want to support AI if I could help it.

I decided to create an AI FREE group on Facebook for book lovers and authors alike. No specific genre, though if the page grows to a point where sub-pages for specific genres need to be made then that will happen. Until then, please come and join us! We would love to have you 💜💜💜

... Read moreAs someone who deeply values authentic interactions in the book community, I completely understand the frustration with AI-generated content flooding social groups. It often feels like the genuine human touch gets lost, and discussions become less meaningful. Creating or joining an AI-free group offers a refreshing space to truly connect over shared passions without worrying about automated posts diluting the experience. In my experience, participating in such groups enhances not only social connection but also inspires original creativity. Authors can receive more sincere feedback and encouragement, while book lovers enjoy discovering recommendations from real people with personal insights rather than algorithm-driven suggestions. This also encourages everyone to support each other’s work knowingly, fostering community growth and trust. Moreover, having a no-AI policy reassures members that photos, reviews, and conversations are crafted with genuine effort and love for books. This commitment to authenticity makes the group feel like a safe haven amid the increasing digital automation trend. If you’re passionate about preserving this human element in your literary interests, joining such AI-free groups is a great way to nurture that environment and resist the overwhelming presence of GenAI content. Overall, an AI-free book lovers and authors community is not just a social group but a meaningful movement towards embracing originality, personal expression, and honest connections in the literary world.
