Hey Book Besties!!

I received some very anticipated ✨ BOOK MAIL ✨ over the weekend.

I recently joined the street team for @authorirenelee and I have received a PR box for her newest upcoming release, All That Was Written. This is book two in The Inheritance Duology. It can be read as a standalone, but book one is where I think you should begin. She sent me the second book separately, so Irene was kind enough to send the first book, Where Memories Lie. I am currently working on it on my kindle, and I am very much enjoying it!!

Thank you to Irene for this wonderful box. The wrapping on the book was gorgeous, and I’m absolutely in love with the necklace. I love the character art and the fact that a recipe card was included. Also, all the stickers are amazing. I’m a an absolute fiend with stickers. I also love the little journal!

Y’all, All That Was Written releases later this week! Go put it on your TBR! I’m so excited to read it soon!

... Read moreAs a longtime fan of urban fantasy and duologies, receiving a PR box like this truly feels special. Irene Lee’s The Inheritance Duology stands out because it weaves rich history with thrilling narratives, centered on the haunting story of the Lady Lyad. Reading 'Where Memories Lie' first gives context and emotional depth that enhances enjoyment of 'All That Was Written.' What I find particularly charming about the PR box is how it adds a personal touch beyond just the books. The inclusion of a recipe card for scrambled eggs with cheese connects to the story’s characters, making the experience immersive. Cooking something from the book while reading creates a unique bond with the narrative. The character art and stickers included are a plus for collectors and bookstagram community members alike. I’m always drawn to creative swag that helps me celebrate stories I love. Plus, the little journal is perfect for jotting down thoughts or favorite quotes while reading. Overall, joining Irene Lee’s street team and receiving these gifts has deepened my appreciation for the duology. For readers looking for an engaging urban fantasy with twists and memorable characters, I highly recommend starting with 'Where Memories Lie' and then diving into 'All That Was Written' when it launches. Keep an eye out for this release on your TBR list—you won’t be disappointed!
