My TBR is so long at this point, but there are a few books I am anxious to read when it’s the right time for them!!!!
These are some of the popular books I own that I’ll get to experience for the first time (be jealous). I’m excited, but scared for some of them as well haha.
Do you have any of these on your TBR? Are you excited to read them? Have you already read them? If so, what did you think?
Managing a growing TBR (To Be Read) pile can be both thrilling and daunting, especially when it includes highly anticipated books by bestselling authors like Rebecca Yarros, V.E. Schwab, and Taylor Jenkins Reid. From my personal experience, having a diverse and popular selection on hand adds excitement but also a bit of pressure — I want to savor each story fully but also keep up with trends and book discussions. One of the titles I’m particularly looking forward to is “The Things We Leave Unfinished” by Rebecca Yarros. I’ve heard it combines emotional depth with compelling characters, a hallmark of her writing. Similarly, V.E. Schwab’s “Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil” promises a gripping narrative that I can’t wait to dive into, particularly since I admire her previous works like "The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue." Another book that caught my eye is "Atmosphere: A Love Story" by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Her storytelling style always weaves complex relationships with rich character development, making her books both addictive and thought-provoking. Adding to my collection is "When the Moon Hatched" by Sarah A. Parker, which has been trending recently and is said to feature a unique fantasy element. I’ve found that choosing the right time to read these books makes a significant difference in how much you enjoy them. For instance, I prefer starting emotionally intense novels when I have fewer commitments, so I can be fully immersed. Additionally, engaging with online book communities on platforms like #bookstagram has enhanced my reading experience by offering diverse perspectives and discussions. If you have any of these titles on your TBR, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Are there particular times you set for reading certain genres or authors? How do you balance your excitement with the pressure of such a long list? Sharing these experiences enriches our collective love for books and can inspire how we approach our personal reading journeys.
