Tromsø City of Northern Lights, Norway 🇳🇴
After leaving Helsinki, arrived in Tromsø early in the morning with rain ☔️, telling me that the first day had hardly gone out, but was super lucky because the accommodation was so good!
🏠 Enter City Hotel - Suite Room
We chose to stay in the suite because four people, only two at the top of the hotel, had a full view of the mountain. 🌄
The room is very wide, with one separate bedroom, another sofa bed, a complete kitchen, like a condo. 🍳 When we got there, luckily, they let us check in early, so we went to the super shopping to cook.
Because it was raining all day, I spent a lot of time resting, sleeping in the view from the window, warming coffee in the kitchen, cozy feed, waiting for time to go out to "hunt the northern light" at 🌌. Moreover, the hotel also has a washing machine, baking clothes for free. Many days ago, the clothes were worn, so I washed them many times.
🌌 Northern Lights Tour Experience
We booked a tour through GetYourGuide, intending to choose an 8-person Private Tour for about 10,000 baht that would pay expensively because we knew that the iPhone wouldn't make it. We wanted a beautiful photo from a photographer and wanted a small team to take care of it. 📸
You understand the word hunt? 😂 Not a picnic hunt. With that we don't know, prepare a full meal. Going to a picnic in the northern lights, it turns out to be a picnic. 😂😂
When the car picked up at 7: 00 p.m., it turned out to be a big 20-person tour, very confused and disappointed, trying to get back to the information that we booked in private, because if this big group was almost half the price, and that night the light was low, the tour drove north of Tromsø for almost two hours until almost the Finnish border. 🌨️ At first glance, everyone got out of the car to take a picture, but the light was only a moment and disappeared! You understand that people have been sitting in the trunk of the tour for two hours, both to puke and to puke. The guide says it's coming. Everyone, hurry up and run down. It's not taken anywhere. The guide says it's gone. Everyone, hurry up. What the fuck? 😅
After that, the cars continued to run until they parked in the courtyard. A lot of cars gathered. At this point, one of the unexpected things was that now I started wanting to go to the bathroom, so I asked the guide if there was a chance to stop by the bathroom for me. The guide replied, "Natural bathroom." 😂 Okket was to go into the forest, but don't worry, because it was so dark, and no one was interested in us. Everyone was looking for light.
Last until 5: 00 pm, the long distance decided to return to the city. With the big and low light tour, I can say that the car does not picture everyone, but we are a real Thai style... "Follow the photographer" at the extreme! 😂 The photographer ran anywhere, we ran with it. When we finished shooting, we ran to another person, and when we asked to take a new photo, he would say that you have to give someone else a picture too. Evere, we booked 8 people, we were hoping to get four single pictures, and only one picture is available. 😭
Finally, after returning to the chat computer and confirming that we actually booked in private, why is this? He reasoned that many days ago, the weather was bad, so it came to the cluster today. Anyone can understand everything but can't accept having to pay such an expensive tour and then have to meet this big tour. And finally, he returned 30 euros each. It was acceptable but still felt felt like a flex, but it was considered a very portable experience. But it's okay. We hope that at Lofoten, the next city we are going to, there is hope to see the northern light from the front of the house without this effort. But anyway, this trip is considered another experience 💫 to win at Lofoten.
🌤️ DAY 2
The weather is much better. ☀️ Start the day by going to see the Arctic Cathedral (Ishavskatedralen), a triangular church in the middle of the city. The view inside in the sun through the glass is so beautiful. 🤍 Then there's the unexpected snowfall. The atmosphere is great. Continue with a stroll through the city at Storgata Street, a small shopping street of Tromsø full of cute shops, chic cafes and a real North Norwegian atmosphere. 🏘️ Then go to a small cafe and then come back and cook at the hotel and do the same laundry. 😂
Last day, there is a little stroll around the city before having to rush to board. Seriously, this place is very slow life for us. With the weather not very good, we do not want to go anywhere. But I can say that the accommodation is very fulfilling. Sitting and listening to music, watching the snow fall from the window alternating with the rain. It is a very romantic atmosphere. If there is another opportunity, we will choose to drive by ourselves to get a little further. In addition, if there is a snowtime, there will be a deer trip and a husky dog sled. It should be a lot of fun.
Even so, we still really like it here and hope to come back. Wait a minute for Lofoten to follow up on the next concert. 🥹✨
