One interesting aspect is how the Moors introduced daily bathing as a concept, which was unfamiliar and even neglected in much of Europe at the time. This focus on hygiene significantly improved public health standards. Unfortunately, after their rule ended, many of these infrastructures were neglected or destroyed, leading Spain—and eventually much of Europe—into periods of poor sanitation and hygiene.
