Pixar still has its magic touch!!!
After watching Disney/Pixar’s Elio, I’m more than happy to say that this movie touched my heart in ways I wasn’t ready for! I literally cried several times!! I relate to Elio when it came to feeling out of place in a world that doesn’t make it easy for someone like me. Sometimes, when I was a kid(whether i knew it or not)I thought something was really wrong with me. Now, I would often remind my younger self, my inner child that he isn’t broken, that he isn’t alone and that he’s loved for who he is and what he plans to accomplish with his dreams! Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the sci-fi horror references that were sprinkled in the movie!
Disney/Pixar’s Elio is a movie for the weirdos and the outsiders, even for autistic people, young and old, who grew up feeling like an alien(like I often did)! Anyway, I had an absolute blast with this film and I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for the Disney+ and DVD release!! Please go and see Elio for the absolute spectacle that it is!!
