Astral Observations: Jellyfish Entities / Beings

Hey everyone! Building on my last post about the astral jellyfish entities I've drawn, I wanted to share a deeper dive into what these encounters truly feel like and why I felt compelled to visualize them. For those curious about the unseen realms, encountering astral entities can be a profound experience. When I refer to the 'astral plane' or 'dreamscape,' I’m talking about those states of consciousness beyond our everyday waking reality. Sometimes it's during a particularly vivid lucid dream, other times during deep meditation where my awareness expands. These astral jellyfish have been a recurring, fascinating theme for me. They're not menacing; rather, they radiate an immense, ancient, yet serene energy. Imagine witnessing something translucent and ethereal, effortlessly drifting through what feels like cosmic currents, often accompanied by flowing tentacles that ripple and shimmer as if made of pure light. What truly captivates me about these celestial jellyfish is their incredible visual detail. One particular encounter brought forth a glowing, red jellyfish-like entity with an almost palpable energetic aura pulsating around it. Its numerous tendrils moved with an independent grace, creating intricate, mesmerizing patterns as it glided. Another instance involved a more stylized, glowing jellyfish-like entity, almost as if it were a living mosaic of light and shadow, with intricate patterns and geometric shapes subtly woven into its form. They often exhibit swirling designs within their translucent bodies, reminiscent of miniature nebulae or galaxies, often in vibrant hues like orange, yellow, purple, and white. Translating these vivid, often overwhelming, astral visions into something tangible through my Photoshop drawings is always an intriguing challenge. My aim is to capture that ethereal quality, ensuring the interplay of light and shadow accurately conveys their glowing and transparent nature. It's not merely about drawing a jellyfish; it's about illustrating an astral entity that defies conventional earthly physics and perception. I find myself experimenting with various color palettes and blending techniques to best represent the energy and luminosity I perceive in these other-dimensional beings. Each brushstroke is an attempt to recall and honor the profound, often humbling, experience of witnessing these astral beings in a realm that feels both familiar and utterly alien. Are they merely products of a vivid imagination? Unconscious symbols? Or perhaps they are truly independent energetic formations, guiding spirits, or even conscious entities inhabiting the astral plane? I certainly don't have all the answers, but these encounters with astral jellyfish have undeniably enriched my understanding of the unseen layers of existence.
