However, reflecting on all that being an LPN has taught me helped me push through those doubts. The experience gained as an LPN is invaluable—it builds a solid foundation in patient care and clinical skills that makes advancing to an RN role more manageable. Balancing assignments and clinical rotations while managing personal life can feel overwhelming at times, but creating a structured schedule and setting clear goals really aided my productivity. I also leaned heavily on support from fellow student nurses, especially those active in communities like TikTok nursing groups or forums dedicated to LPN and RN students. Sharing experiences and tips helped me realize I was not alone in this process. If you’re currently struggling with the LPN-RN bridge program or contemplating whether to start, remember your LPN background is a strong asset. Embrace that experience and use it as motivation to continue learning and growing. The transition can open doors to expanded responsibilities and better career opportunities in nursing. Stay patient with yourself, celebrate small victories, and keep your long-term goals in sight.

Girl that’s me right now. Don’t even want to get the RN for real but I guess I have to for the way the world is set up.
