You’re not lazy… read this
Are you tired for no reason… or does it feel deeper than that?
If this is you today, read this.
You think you’re falling behind…
but your body is actually catching up.
The exhaustion.
The lack of motivation.
The need to just sit and scroll and not think.
That’s not failure.
That’s what happens
when your system finally feels safe enough
to stop running.
You don’t need more pressure today.
You need space.
Because healing doesn’t always look like progress…
sometimes it looks like rest.
Comment “REST” if this hit you.
I speak what I become. Healing is around the corner—you just have to keep walking 💜🙏🏻

When I first realized that my exhaustion wasn’t a sign of laziness but rather my body catching up after a long period of stress, everything shifted for me. Many of us grow up equating rest with weakness, constantly pushing ourselves to the brink without acknowledging the toll it takes on our mental and physical health. Coming out of survival mode is a vulnerable process. It’s the moment when your body and mind feel safe enough to finally slow down. The lack of motivation and desire to just scroll aimlessly is not a failure but a signal from your system demanding space and patience. In my personal experience, embracing rest instead of guilt helped me heal more deeply. Instead of forcing productivity, I allowed myself to pause and reflect. This act of giving myself permission to rest recharged my resilience and inspired me to cultivate self-care routines like gentle meditation, mindful breathing, and journaling. These small acts made me feel connected to myself rather than exhausted by external pressures. It’s important to recognize that healing isn’t always linear. Sometimes the most powerful progress happens in stillness. Resting is not about giving up; it’s about honoring where you are and trusting the process. If you’re feeling the weight of burnout or emotional fatigue, know that saying “REST” isn’t quitting—it's a brave step toward recovery. Remember to listen to your body, create safe spaces within your days, and surround yourself with understanding. Healing truly is around the corner as long as you keep walking, even if slowly.
