Love my children❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What people don’t always say out loud is this…
When you’re a parent, you don’t just raise a child.
You raise a soul you have to slowly learn how to let go of.
You give them everything you can —
your love, your lessons, your warnings, your protection…
hoping that something you said will stay with them
on the days you’re not there to guide them.
Because the truth is…
we know their journey is their own.
We know they have to learn things
in ways we wish they didn’t have to.
But if we could choose anything…
it would be for them to rise stronger,
to see the light in themselves sooner,
and to remember who they are
before the world tries to tell them otherwise.
And maybe… just maybe…
a part of us hopes they hold onto our words
a little longer
before they have to figure it all out on their own.
I speak what I become. Healing is around the corner—you just have to keep walking 💜🙏🏻
Parenting is one of the most profound journeys we embark on, and it truly extends beyond just raising a child to adulthood. The emotional bond and the subtle lessons we impart form the foundation of their inner world. From my own experience, learning to let go is one of the hardest but most essential parts of being a parent. It means trusting your children to navigate their own challenges, even when the world presents harsh realities they may not be ready for. What I find uplifting is the power of words we choose to share. The message from the images resonates deeply—highlighting that emotions and experiences come in pairs, and hope can always counter fear, just as strength can offset weakness. These contrasting words remind us to focus on the positive narratives we want our children to embrace. I have often told my children to remember that life will show them things they didn’t ask for, but how they interpret those moments defines their journey. Encouraging them to see beyond the 'worst version of the story' helps build resilience. Another truth I’ve embraced is that our role as parents is not to shield our children from hardships, but to equip them with the emotional tools and perspective to transform those hardships into growth. Healing, as mentioned, is around the corner if we keep moving forward. This perspective helps when facing moments of doubt or fear, reassuring both myself and my children that these feelings are temporary and can be a gateway to trust and victory. Lastly, the hope that children hold onto our words a little longer underscores the importance of consistent, loving communication. Whether through conversations, stories, or simply being present, the seeds of encouragement we plant can flourish when our children begin to make sense of their own world. Parenting is indeed a journey of love, learning, and continuous healing—both for them and for us as parents.
