Strawberry Moon

🌕 STRAWBERRY MOON RITUAL 🍓

Most full moons are known for releasing what no longer serves us. But the Strawberry Moon carries another beautiful energy.

Named by Native American tribes because it marked the season of harvesting wild strawberries, this moon reminds us that growth, abundance, and gratitude are just as important as letting go.

Tonight, I’m releasing what no longer belongs in my life… and planting intentions for everything I want to grow.

✨ What you’ll need:

• One white candle

• Two small pieces of paper

• A pen

• A metal bowl or clean coffee can for burning your papers

🤍 Step 1 – Light your white candle.

As you light it, say:

“May this flame bring clarity to my mind, peace to my heart, and light to my path. I release all that no longer serves my highest good.”

📝 Step 2 – Release.

On the first piece of paper, write everything you’re ready to let go of—fear, doubt, anger, resentment, limiting beliefs, unhealthy relationships, old habits… whatever is weighing on your soul.

Fold the paper away from you three times to send that energy away.

Hold it over the flame and burn it safely in your metal bowl or coffee can.

As it burns, say:

“I release you with love. Your lessons are complete. You no longer have power over me. I set myself free, and I make space for new blessings to enter my life.”

Allow the ashes to cool before discarding them.

🌱 Step 3 – Plant your intentions.

On the second piece of paper, write everything you want to grow in your life.

Love.

Peace.

Health.

Prosperity.

Confidence.

Purpose.

Joy.

Abundance.

Fold this paper toward you three times to draw those blessings in.

Bury it in the earth, in a flower pot, or somewhere meaningful.

As you bury it, say:

“Just as a seed grows beneath the earth before it is seen, I trust that my intentions are already taking root. What is meant for me is growing in perfect timing. I receive it with gratitude, faith, and an open heart.”

🙏 Close with gratitude.

“Thank You, God. Thank You to my angels, my spirit team, and the Divine Light that guides me. Thank You for releasing what no longer belongs to me and for blessing the path ahead. May my heart remain open, my faith remain strong, and my life continue to unfold according to my highest good. Amen.”

May this Strawberry Moon remind you that every ending creates space for a new beginning.

I speak what I become.

Healing is around the corner—you just have to keep walking. 💜🙏🏻

... Read moreThe Strawberry Moon is a powerful opportunity to deepen your spiritual practice by combining intention-setting with emotional release. I've found that performing the ritual outdoors under the full moon amplifies the experience, allowing the natural energy to help you connect more deeply with your intentions. Using a white candle and writing on paper as described helps to externalize your feelings, creating a physical act of letting go and welcoming new blessings. I always take time afterward to meditate quietly, focusing on the image of my intentions growing like seeds beneath the ground. For added personalization, you can add natural elements like fresh strawberries or herbs to your ritual space, honoring the moon’s namesake and the season of abundance it represents. The act of burying your written intentions in the earth symbolizes planting your hopes and trusting the natural timing of growth. In the days following the ritual, I keep a journal to track any shifts in mindset or unexpected progress toward my goals. This practice reinforces gratitude and keeps the energy of the Strawberry Moon alive in daily life. Remember, the key message of the Strawberry Moon is balance—while the full moon encourages release, this ritual highlights the importance of gratitude and planting positive intentions to manifest abundance in your life. Embracing both aspects can bring lasting healing and new beginnings.
