EVERY SEASON. ON PURPOSE.
I like to believe that God has placed me—and will continue to place me—in every room I’m meant to be in.
From the early places that taught me trust, to the spaces that challenged and refined me. Through seasons of disappointment, loneliness, and unexpected redirection. From the opportunities that launched new chapters to the ones that quietly built resilience. From waiting rooms where I learned compassion to the kitchen where I have the privilege of loving and serving my family.
Every room has shaped me, stretched me, humbled me, or given me the opportunity to love others well.
Some rooms taught me gratitude for the next one. Some taught me contentment right where I was. Some were filled with blessings. Others were filled with lessons. Many were both.
Looking back, I can see that God wasn’t simply leading me from place to place—He was forming my heart through every season. And because of that, I trust that He will continue to place me exactly where I need to be, exactly when I need to be there.
Reflecting on my own journey, I've found that embracing every life season with intentionality enriches personal growth beyond expectation. Whether in moments of joy or challenge, recognizing that each phase serves a purpose helps cultivate patience and gratitude. For example, times of waiting or uncertainty are often overlooked, yet they provide crucial opportunities for inner reflection and strengthen empathy towards others. Just like the reference to waiting rooms in the original post, these periods can become transformative when we approach them with openness rather than resistance. Serving family or community in everyday settings—like a kitchen or local gathering—also grounds us. Acts of love and service in these spaces foster connection and a sense of fulfillment. Personally, finding meaning in small, seemingly ordinary moments has deepened my appreciation for life's journey. Overall, the belief that each place we inhabit is purposeful encourages us to live intentionally and celebrate growth in every circumstance. It reminds me to be present, embrace lessons, and shine where I am planted, trusting that these experiences shape my heart and character over time.
