Write the scripture for the day in your notebook..

1️⃣ Make sure you have a Bible

You can use a physical Bible or download a Bible app there are many ways to access the Word. Choose a version you understand and feel comfortable with.

KJV is more advanced in my opinion, but use what works for you. Beginner-friendly versions include NIV, NLT, ESV, NKJV, MSG (Message), EASY, and CEV (Contemporary English Version). I started with a children’s Bible and explored other versions as I grew, do what works best for you.

2️⃣ Set up your notebooks

Use 12 notebooks or do it digitally on an iPad, laptop, tablet, or phone. Whatever works for you I personally like physical notebooks.

3️⃣ Look up the daily scripture

Find the verse for the day and read it out loud a few times so it really sinks in.

4️⃣ Write the scripture

Write the full verse in your notebook or digital page.

5️⃣ Break it down in your own words

Write what it means to you. Keep it simple and real how do you understand it?

6️⃣ Visualize & apply it

Visualize yourself in the scripture and write how you will apply it in your life. Include what you’re struggling with and how the verse speaks to it.

7️⃣ Go back and review when needed

If you feel yourself slipping or forgetting, reread your notes and remind yourself of what God showed you.

8️⃣ Pray about it

Ask God to help you understand and live the scripture not just read it. You can also write a short prayer.

** “Stay consistent, not perfect.”

Let’s do this together. Let’s get excited. Let’s do something different. #scripturechallenge #12notebooks12months
