Last night Michael and I had the honor of attending the Tango Gala in support of Children & Families of Iowa 🤍
CFI provides support for individuals and families across all 99 counties in Iowa through domestic violence services, mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, child care assistance, and disability employment services.
Tango is their signature annual event, helping raise funds for programs and services that make a real difference for so many in our community. We were so grateful to be part of such a meaningful evening and help support this incredible mission.
Such a wonderful cause to support—especially for local businesses looking for a meaningful place to donate, sponsor, or contribute to silent auction items. It truly makes an impact ✨
Attending the Tango Gala was truly an inspiring experience that showcased how events like these can bring communities together for a powerful cause. Held at the charming venue Toast in Ankeny, the gala stood out with its beautiful decorations and fun atmosphere, including entertaining dueling pianos that kept the energy lively throughout the night. What resonated deeply with me was learning about how Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) touches so many lives statewide. Their comprehensive support—from domestic violence services to mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment—demonstrates a holistic approach to empowering families. They also offer child care assistance and disability employment services, which are crucial resources often overlooked. The silent and live auctions were a perfect way for local businesses and attendees to contribute meaningfully. It's heartening to see small businesses not just participate but feel connected to such philanthropic efforts. If your business or you are ever looking for an impactful way to give back, sponsoring or donating items to events like this truly makes a difference. Beyond fundraising, the gala provided a sense of community and hope. Watching people come together, enjoy the festivities, and support a shared mission highlighted the power of collective goodwill. The event reinforced my belief in the importance of supporting local causes that create real, measurable impacts. If you ever get the chance to attend future events by Children & Families of Iowa, I highly recommend it—not just for the fun and entertainment but for the chance to be part of meaningful change that helps families and individuals thrive across Iowa.
