March Reads, Part 1: Book Journal Updates!

I’ve found that keeping a detailed book journal not only helps me remember key plot points but also deepens my appreciation for the themes and characters. For instance, rating books with stars and adding unique 'spice' ratings can capture how much a story excites or surprises you, making the review more personal and insightful. In March, reflecting on my reading list brought unexpected favorites to light—titles by Taylor Jenkins Reid like "Carrie Soto Is Back" stood out for their engaging storytelling and complex characters. Including memoirs like Shonda Rhimes’ "Year of Yes" added a refreshing mix of inspiration to my reading diversity.
