It’s incredible how quickly these days fly by on 75 Hard! As I reflect on Day 29, I’m already starting to see and feel the "before and after" changes, even though I’m not at the finish line yet. For anyone embarking on this journey or curious about the transformations, let me share some insights on what to expect and how to maximize your own progress. One of the biggest questions people have is about the 'before and after' aspect. While the physical changes are often the most visible – like seeing increased muscle definition or a change in body composition – the mental shift has been just as profound for me. I started feeling more disciplined and self-assured after just a couple of weeks. To truly capture your own ‘before and after,’ I highly recommend taking weekly progress photos (same lighting, same clothes!) and measurements. It's so motivating to look back and see how far you've come, especially on days when you feel stuck. My daily exercise routine has been a huge driver of these changes. For my first workout, like the one on Day 29, I often focus on strength training. I love using my TRX for a challenging full-body workout, incorporating exercises like Superman, plank, and bridge to really hit my core and back. I also make sure to include lower body work with frog pumps, banded leg flys, and lateral walks, along with leg extensions, single-leg RDLs, and glute bridges. For my upper body, I find lat pull-downs, chest-supported rows, and tricep dips incredibly effective. These structured sessions, lasting around 50 minutes, really build strength and endurance, which translates directly into visible changes. The second workout is usually my cardio, and it’s non-negotiable! On Day 29, I combined a 3-mile walk with a 3-mile run. This mix keeps things interesting and ensures I’m getting my miles in, no matter what. The consistency of these two daily workouts is what truly creates the 'after' picture. It’s not about doing one big workout; it’s about showing up every single day. Beyond the workouts, nutrition plays a crucial role in seeing those 'after' results. Sticking to a strict diet has taught me so much about what my body needs. Learning to fuel myself properly has not only improved my energy levels but also accelerated my physical transformation. And don't forget the water intake – a gallon a day might seem daunting at first, but it makes an incredible difference in how you feel and look. The mental toughness you build by committing to every single rule, even when you don't feel like it, is perhaps the most valuable 'after' effect. The discipline spills over into every other area of my life. If you're struggling to start or stay on track, remember your 'why.' What transformation do you truly seek? Keeping that vision front and center will help you push through the tough days and ultimately achieve your own incredible 'before and after' story.
