Romanticizing my life, right here, right now!
Today I woke up thinking to myself this is it. I've had enough. I will not waste a single moment being down or feeling as if I am not doing enough. What I do is enough, I am more than enough.
And with that came the realization that life does not have to be perfect for me to romanticize it. I don't have to wait to be a certain size, or have a certain job for it to feel perfect and content. Cause it doesn't work like that.
The only thing you can be sure of is this moment, here & now.
So even though it felt heavy, and it felt like I have nothing going on, I got up, went to my office bathroom, reapplied my gloss and clicked this happy selfie.
🤍 This right here is my first step towards romanticizing my life. 🤍

Romanticizing your life is more than just a trend; it's a mindset. Many people find satisfaction in being present, recognizing that life can be enjoyed irrespective of external conditions. The idea is to embrace vulnerability and acknowledge imperfections as a part of life’s journey. Practicing intentional self-care, like taking selfies, applying makeup, or simply reflecting on your day, can help you appreciate the small moments that make life special. This approach is linked to well-being, as it encourages a positive mindset and gratitude. It’s important to understand that everyone’s life is a tapestry of experiences, and comparing your journey to others can detract from your own happiness. Engaging with positive communities and sharing authentic moments can uplift your spirit and create connections. If you're struggling to see the beauty in everyday life, consider journaling your thoughts, practicing mindfulness, or participating in online communities that focus on self-love and personal growth. Inspiration can also be drawn from social media platforms that promote these ideals. Ultimately, it’s about being kind to yourself and recognizing that perfection is an illusion. Celebrate the uniqueness of your journey and the beauty of being alive, right here, right now.
