As an artist, receiving recognition can be a transformative experience. At the 2025 International Juried Exhibition in Bermuda, I was honored to receive the Second Prize for my piece 'Table for One'. This exhibition, held at The Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster, NJ, showcased a wide array of talent and creativity from artists across the region. My artwork, created with acrylic on canvas, reflects themes of isolation and introspection, which resonated with the judges and captured the attention of many attendees. Participating in such a prestigious event not only validates my artistic expression but also pushes me to continue honing my craft and exploring new ideas. The competition featured many talented artists, making it an inspiring environment filled with innovation and passion. Winning this award has motivated me to delve deeper into my artistic journey and to share the stories behind my artwork with a broader audience. I believe art has the power to connect people, evoke emotions, and provoke thought, and I am excited to continue this exploration through my future projects.
