... Read moreOkay, so everyone's been asking about the MFF 2024 attendance, and let me tell you, it felt absolutely massive this year! Having just returned, I can honestly say the convention was buzzing with an incredible energy that only comes from such a huge turnout. From the moment I stepped into the convention center, the sheer number of fursuiters and attendees was just astounding. It wasn't just a convention; it was a vibrant, moving sea of creativity and community. Navigating the halls felt like an adventure in itself, dodging tails and paws, and getting swept up in the flow of excited fans heading to panels, the dealer's den, or just chilling in the main lobby. While official MFF attendance numbers for 2024 are usually released later, my personal experience points to another record-breaking year. The crowds were consistently thick, especially around popular photo spots and during events like the Fursuit Dance Competition. It truly highlighted the growing passion within the furry community. One of the things I loved most about the high attendance was the spontaneous interactions. You'd turn a corner and suddenly be part of a huge group cheering on a dance-off, or stumble upon an impromptu photoshoot with dozens of fursuiters. I remember seeing so many unique fursuits, and even caught a glimpse of that memorable 'WOMEN FEAR ME FISH FEAR ME MEN TURN THEIR EYES AWAY FROM ME AS I WALK NO BEAST DARES MAKE A SOUND IN MY PRESENCE I AM ALONE ON THIS BARREN EARTH' sign someone was holding – it definitely made me smile amidst the bustling halls! The 'Classics Arcade IVE' was also a huge hit, always packed with people enjoying retro games and classic arcade vibes, a testament to how many diverse interests MFF caters to. Of course, with such incredible MFF 2024 attendance comes a few challenges, like longer lines for food or a bit more shoulder-to-shoulder action in the dealer's den. But honestly, it's a small price to pay for the electric atmosphere and the feeling of being part of something so grand. My tip for anyone planning to go next year, especially if the attendance continues to grow: plan your schedule, wear comfy shoes, and embrace the crowds! It's all part of the unique experience. Seeing so many people sharing the same passion, making new friends, and just having an amazing time, makes MFF truly special. It really felt like the furry fandom is thriving, and the energy from everyone there was just contagious. I'm already looking forward to MFF 2025!
