So this is my warning to all you. 😂
All I did was EAT. And never at home. No energy, and nothing sounded good.

During my first trimester, I quickly learned that the early pregnancy journey is full of surprises, especially when it comes to food cravings and energy levels. Like many moms-to-be, I found that eating at home was rarely appealing, and I ended up eating out much more often than I'd planned. This not only became expensive but also added stress about maintaining a balanced diet essential for both my health and the baby’s. What helped me was planning small, frequent meals that were simple yet nourishing. I realized that sometimes, it wasn’t about forcing myself to eat home-cooked meals but rather finding snacks and foods that felt manageable and enjoyable, like smoothies, easy-to-digest fruits, or light sandwiches. This approach helped me keep up my energy when nausea or fatigue made bigger meals daunting. Another thing no one warned me about was how draining low energy in the first trimester could be. I had days when getting out of bed felt like a huge task, which made balancing work, appointments, and self-care challenging. Taking short rests and listening to my body without guilt was essential. Joining support groups for first-time moms and those on the IVF path also provided both emotional comfort and practical tips. Finally, I learned that acknowledging these challenges openly with friends and family made it easier to get the support I needed. Pregnancy is a unique experience for every woman, but sharing honest feelings, even the tough parts about constant hunger and fatigue, can help normalize the journey and prepare others for what might lie ahead.
