Gabriel 🥺

It’s $2 Tuesday, and this week we’re raising funds for Gabriel, an 11-week-old kitten with pectus excavatum. Pectus excavatum is a condition that causes his chest to cave inward and makes it harder for his heart and lungs to do their jobs.

This week (or next), Gabriel will be traveling to San Antonio for surgery that could save his life. The procedure is expected to cost around $4,000. Gabriel could really use your help.

No donation is too small. Every dollar gets Gabriel one tiny step closer to the surgery he needs.

Donated? Comment “Pectus Posse” so we can thank you! 😹❤️

Thank you for helping us give this little guy the chance to grow up.

... Read moreGabriel’s story truly touched my heart, and it’s incredible to see how community support can make a life-saving difference for vulnerable animals. Pectus excavatum in kittens is a rare but serious condition where the chest sinks inward, restricting the heart and lungs from working properly. Without surgery, kittens like Gabriel face severe health risks. When I first learned about this condition, I was amazed at how advanced veterinary surgery has become to not only improve but save the lives of tiny creatures. Fundraisers like these show the power of collective kindness — even small donations add up to big impacts. If you’ve ever had a beloved pet, you can relate to wanting the best care possible. It’s also important to recognize the travel involved for such specialized surgery, in Gabriel’s case to San Antonio, which adds to the costs and stress on the little kitten. Contributing via Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal as listed can provide a direct and secure way to assist. Sharing stories like Gabriel’s raises awareness about rare conditions in pets and encourages others to support animal rescue and medical help charities. I’ve found that community efforts not only fund treatments but also bring comfort and hope to pet owners and rescuers alike. If you’re considering donating, commenting "Pectus Posse" helps connect and thank supporters, creating a caring network rallying behind Gabriel’s recovery. Watching updates after surgery will be a powerful reminder of how compassion and generosity can transform a fragile life. Remember, animal rescue and medical interventions rely heavily on public goodwill. Supporting kittens like Gabriel means you are saving more than a life — you’re preserving a future filled with comfort and love for a deserving little soul.
