We often oppose caricatures of people on the other side of the aisle, instead of seeing the people themselves. So, here’s a little look at life at home, outside of work, for one of the many “evil leftists” who live in America 😁. Before anyone says something silly like “The Left wants to take your freedom/stuff/guns and make you dependent,” stop to consider that I AM one of those leftists, so maybe there’s a chance you’re wrong about some of your assumptions (that’s kinda what the song is about, after all 😉). Are there potential snags? Yes, of course. But if we can work toward a goal of helping everyone by pulling in the same direction, maybe we can actually leave this world a little better than the way we found it.
