These specialized products also ensure proper rinsing, preventing buildup in your machine. However, that doesn't mean Fabuloso is entirely out of the picture for your laundry *area*! While you absolutely shouldn't put it directly on your clothes, you can use it to keep your washer machine clean itself, or the surrounding laundry space. I love giving the exterior of my washing machine, the detergent dispenser drawer, and the laundry room floor a good wipe-down with Fabuloso. For the interior of the machine, especially to tackle any lingering odors or buildup, I prefer running an empty hot cycle with a dedicated washing machine cleaner, or even a cup of plain white vinegar.
