The story behind why I created The Cloud Project ☁️💙
People often ask me why I chose a cloud.
The truth is, it started with a story that completely changed the way I saw them.
I learned about a little girl named Marilyn who imagined herself floating among the clouds during some of the hardest moments of her childhood because, in her mind, they were the one place she felt safe.
That story never left me.
It made me realize that something as simple as a cloud could become a symbol of hope, comfort, and resilience.
So I created The Cloud Project.
Not to simply make products, but to create everyday reminders that brighter days are possible while helping support organizations working to protect vulnerable children.
Every cloud, keychain, tote, plush, and hat carries that purpose.
If you’ve ever wondered why this brand exists, this is my story ☁️
... Read moreWhen I first heard Marilyn's story, the image of her floating among clouds during tough times deeply resonated with me. It made me reflect on how we all need symbols that bring us peace and encouragement, especially during moments of hardship. Clouds, often seen only as weather phenomena, took on a new meaning—a safe space where hope lives.
Creating The Cloud Project was not just about making products; it became a mission to offer people tangible reminders that brighter days are within reach. I realized that many people struggle with their own storms, whether emotional or mental, and carrying something as simple as a cloud-shaped keychain or wearing a cloud-themed hat could serve as a source of comfort and strength.
Most importantly, the project supports vulnerable children who need protection and love. By donating 15% of every purchase to organizations working in child welfare, it extends the message of hope beyond just symbolism—it leads to real impact. For many children, life is full of challenges, and the support provided through these donations helps them feel safe and valued.
In everyday life, I often find myself looking up at the sky during stressful moments, grounding myself by appreciating the clouds’ changing shapes and softness. These personal rituals remind me that no matter how dark the skies get, they will eventually clear. Sharing these experiences with others through The Cloud Project fosters a community of healing and hope, which is priceless.
If you are someone who seeks small, meaningful ways to nurture your mental health or support those in need, embracing symbols like The Cloud Project can be powerful. It’s a beautiful blend of personal healing and social responsibility, reminding us all that resilience comes from holding on to hope and helping others along the way.
Brighter days truly are possible, and carrying a symbol of that hope can make a difference — both for yourself and for vulnerable children who deserve a safe and loving childhood.
