Connecting TikTok and Lemon8

I’ve seen some posts where people are confused on how to merge accounts.
I am absolutely not happy about it either.
BUT I figured I’d help out on how to do it.
1: Download the TikTok App.
2: Make a TikTok if you don’t have one. You HAVE to have one.
3: Stay in the TikTok app.
4: In the TikTok app set up you can skip through fully making the account and preferences for what you’d like to see on TikTok.
3: Inside the TikTok app there should be an option to connect your Lemon8 account to your TikTok account immediately. If not go to settings in the TikTok app.
4: Follow the step by step process. It’s very easy.

If you go into settings you can turn off multiple options so that your posts from either platform don’t cross post to one another. I would recommend going into Lemon8 to check these settings too.
Then delete the app off your phone if you like. Not the account just the app.

The linking of accounts is not a problem, the problem is that Lemon8 wants you to use our TikTok accounts to login into our lemon8. So many of us, who used an email to login here, now need to use TikTok but when we try to do that it creates another account here 😩
