I moved into the van 🚐

Wow, can you believe it? Officially moved into the van! It still feels a bit surreal, even after all the hustle to get it done in just 26 days. The first few days have been a mix of pure excitement and a little bit of 'okay, what now?' settling in. Every morning I wake up to the view of my very own creation, from the cozy bed in the back to the functional kitchen area with those vibrant green cabinets and sturdy wooden countertops, complete with a sink and stove. It truly feels like home, just a much smaller, mobile version! Building out a van so quickly was definitely a challenge, but so incredibly rewarding. We focused on the essentials first, making sure the kitchen was fully operational and the sleeping area was comfortable. I’m thinking of putting together a quick guide on how we managed to pull off the core build so fast – definitely a lot of late nights and early mornings involved! And yes, that means plenty of coffee brewed right here on my little stove. It’s funny how quickly you adapt to a smaller space and realize how little you actually need. Now that I'm on the road, I'm really looking forward to sharing more of this journey. Having a stable internet connection is still a work in progress, but it forces me to disconnect and truly immerse myself in my surroundings. I've already realized a few 'must-haves' I didn't think of during the build, like a really good headlamp and a portable charger for all my devices when Wi-Fi is scarce.
