From Breakdown to Business Owner
5.5 years ago, I wasn’t planning brunch or sleeping in on a Sunday.
I was sitting in my car before a 12+ hour shift… already crying before the day even started.
Feet aching before I walked in.
Exhausted. Snapping at the people I loved.
Living on caffeine and autopilot — just trying to survive.
I didn’t dream about more.
I didn’t rest.
I didn’t even think about what I wanted because I didn’t believe I had options.
But one morning I had this thought:
“If nothing changes… nothing changes.”
And that stuck with me.
Because I realized no one was coming to save me.
And nothing in my life would ever shift unless I made the decision to change it.
So I took the first step.
Scared.
Unqualified.
Completely unsure of how it would turn out.
But that one decision?
It cracked open a life I didn’t even know was possible.
⸻
Now it’s Sunday… and I’m not clocking in.
I’m walking my dog.
Drinking my morning drink in peace.
Answering messages from women who are ready to start building something of their own.
I didn’t get here overnight.
And it didn’t always make sense on paper.
But I’m so glad I didn’t wait for it to feel “easy” before I started.
Because the version of me who almost didn’t go for it?
She’d be so proud of this life I get to live now.
🩷
If this hit you in the heart…
If you’re sitting in that “there has to be more” season right now…
follow me and a 🎃 and I’ll share what I said yes to. No pressure — just real info that changed everything for me.
