I want to be really honest about this

I want to be really honest about this because I do not see enough people talking about it.

there was a darkness that lived in me for years. not dramatic. not visible. just a constant heaviness that sat over everything. a fog that made colors look a little duller and joy feel a little further away than it should.

I functioned completely fine on the outside. I showed up. I did the work. I smiled when I was supposed to.

but inside I was just going through the motions. and I had accepted it as just who I was now.

and then something changed.

one day I realized the fog was gone. the heaviness that had been my constant companion for years had just quietly disappeared. and I felt something I had forgotten was even available to me.

I felt light. genuinely light. present. like the version of myself I had been missing for a very long time had just walked back in.

I did not change my circumstances. I just finally gave my body what it had been desperately asking for. and everything shifted.

if you have been carrying something heavy for so long you have forgotten what it feels like to put it down, follow me for more and comment HORMONES below. 🤍 for the fastest response please message on Instagram(TheCortisolCode)

... Read moreFor years, I experienced a persistent tiredness that no amount of sleep could fix. It felt like a weight that dulled my joy and clouded my outlook, much like the fog described in the article. Despite functioning well outwardly, inside I felt disconnected from myself and the things I once loved. This is a common experience for many people dealing with hormonal imbalances, especially involving cortisol—the stress hormone. Cortisol plays a crucial role in our body’s response to stress, but when its levels remain elevated or imbalanced, it can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, mood swings, and gut health issues. Many doctors might not catch these subtle hormonal shifts because standard tests often miss the nuances of cortisol rhythm and its impact on mental wellness. What made a difference for me was tuning into my body's signals rather than relying solely on external indicators or routine medical tests. I started focusing on holistic approaches: improving my nutrition by reducing sugar and processed foods, prioritizing restful sleep, incorporating gentle exercise like yoga, and practicing mindfulness and stress reduction techniques. These changes supported my hormonal health and gradually lifted that persistent heaviness. I also learned that gut health is intimately connected with hormone function. An imbalance in gut flora can exacerbate inflammation and hormone disruption, making it harder to feel like yourself. Incorporating probiotic-rich foods and staying hydrated helped improve my digestion and overall energy levels. The turning point came when I acknowledged that feeling 'not fine' was valid, even if tests said otherwise. Hormone health, especially managing cortisol imbalance, is a key factor many overlook when addressing mental wellness. If you’re feeling weighed down by unexplained tiredness or mood shifts, consider that your body might be asking for this type of support. Don't hesitate to seek out specialized advice or communities discussing hormone health and cortisol balance. Sharing experiences and remedies can often be the light that helps you rediscover your genuine, vibrant self—the one that feels light, present, and fully alive again.

BE HONEST💔
WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE SINGLE?? For me, it’s probably because I enjoy spending time alone, don’t really ever approach people while out, AND hate dating apps!! what about you guys?? what do you think is keeping you single?? do you enjoy being single or do wish you had a partner?❤️

If you’re being honest… it’s not that you “can’t”
If you’re being honest… it’s not that you “can’t” lose the gut. It’s that you’re stuck in a cycle. You train hard for 2–3 weeks. Scale doesn’t move fast enough. You get frustrated. You loosen up on food. Sleep drops. You start over again. And every time that happens, the gut stays.

Be honest. Would you pay to push your art further?
I used to be like, “no, they just want money from us.” But when I really thought about it… all artists invest in their art. Filmmakers pay for theaters. Musicians pay for studio time + promo. Creators pay for cameras, trips, editing software. So if I believe in my work — why wouldn’t I bet
