Free Homeschool Online Grade Book!

One of the most tedious things as a teacher in any capacity is putting grades in.

As a homeschool teacher, I didn’t know I had access to an online grade book. I used to write it down and average out the final grade by hand. 😔

Then I found

IGRADEPLUS!

I made an account as a teacher. It’s all free.

I do write the grades down during school in my teacher planner. Then once a week, I input the grades. I can even take attendance to keep track of school days. If you have to submit that information to your state, you can easily print it!

This is the best grading system I have had since I started homeschooling , 9 years ago!

How do you keep track of grades?

... Read moreAs a homeschool teacher, I totally get the struggle of keeping up with grades. For years, I found myself buried under stacks of papers, constantly double-checking my math to average out final scores. It was truly one of the most tedious parts of my day, and honestly, it took away precious time I could have spent on actual teaching or lesson planning. That's why finding a reliable, free online gradebook was an absolute game-changer for me. Before I discovered iGradePlus, I didn't even realize such a convenient solution existed for homeschoolers! Now, instead of wrestling with a calculator, I can quickly input grades once a week, keeping everything organized and accessible. It’s been 9 years since I started homeschooling, and this system is by far the best I've ever used. Setting up assignments in iGradePlus is surprisingly straightforward. I love how I can categorize everything for different subjects – whether it's for Algebra, Art, or Language Arts, just like you might see on the assignment creation page. When I create a new assignment, I simply fill in the title, select the correct class, choose a category like 'homework' or 'quiz,' assign the maximum points, and set the grading period. This level of detail makes report generation a breeze later on. But it’s not just about grades, either. For states that require attendance records, iGradePlus lets me easily track school days. And when it comes to submitting information, printing out professional-looking reports is so simple. This has been invaluable for creating yearly portfolios and ensuring I meet all our state's homeschooling requirements without any extra stress. While iGradePlus has been my go-to for years, I know many of us are always on the lookout for the perfect tool. If you're exploring other free online gradebook options or homeschool programs, here's what I'd suggest considering: Ease of Use: Is the interface intuitive? You don't want to spend hours learning a new system when you have teaching to do! Customization: Can you customize categories, grading scales, and reporting options to fit your unique homeschooling style? Reporting Capabilities: Does it generate clear, printable reports for your records or state requirements? Attendance Tracking: Does it offer integrated attendance tracking if that's something you need? Mobile Access: Is there a free homeschool gradebook app or mobile-friendly version? Being able to quickly input grades from my phone or tablet is a huge plus. Support & Community: Are there resources or a community to help you if you get stuck? Finding the right online gradebook truly alleviates so much administrative burden, allowing me to focus more on teaching and less on paperwork. It keeps everything organized, accessible, and helps me track my children's progress effectively. If you're still using pen and paper, I highly recommend exploring a free online gradebook solution – it might just be the game-changer you've been looking for too!
