But then I started incorporating this 'Sunday Reset' ritual, and it's been a game-changer for helping me truly reset myself – not just my schedule, but my mind and spirit too. Let me walk you through how I approach these questions, hoping it helps you find your own clarity. First, 'What do I need more of?' This isn't just about tangible things. For me, it often means more 'quiet time,' 'mindful moments,' or 'movement.' Sometimes, it's about needing more 'connection' with loved ones or even 'creative outlets.' Don't censor yourself here. Think about what truly nourishes you, what leaves you feeling depleted when it's missing. Perhaps it's more sleep, more hydration, or more time spent outdoors. Jot down whatever comes to mind, big or small. Next, we tackle 'What do I need less of?' This one can be a little harder, as it often points to habits or commitments we've grown accustomed to. Maybe it's less screen time before bed, less mindless scrolling, or less saying 'yes' to things that don't truly align with my goals. It could be less self-criticism, less procrastination, or even less clutter in my physical space. Identifying these areas is the first step toward making conscious changes that pave the way for more of what you do need. It's about decluttering your life, both mentally and physically, so you can truly reset and recharge. Finally, and this is perhaps my favorite, 'What am I already doing right?' It's so easy to focus on what we didn't achieve or what went wrong. This question forces us to acknowledge our wins, no matter how small. Did I stick to my morning routine for a few days? Did I manage to get a workout in? Did I show kindness to someone? Did I make progress on a personal project? Celebrating these small victories builds confidence and reminds us that we're capable and resilient. It shifts our perspective from self-judgment to self-appreciation, which is crucial for a healthy reset. By taking just a few minutes each Sunday to reflect on these three questions, I find myself entering the new week with a sense of purpose and calm. It’s not just about planning; it’s about checking in with myself, understanding my needs, and setting intentional energy for the days ahead. I often light a candle and grab my favorite journal, making it a sacred ritual.
