My main concern was that she would have FIV or FeLV and it wouldn’t be safe for the boys. Now that she was negative, we’re just focused on making her comfy and getting her feeling better. She’s in our big guest bedroom enjoying the indoor life! Obviously with worms we need to decide when it’s safe for the boys to meet her, but I think if surgery can happen sooner rather than later we’ll wait until that’s over anyway. I feel better having our regular vet take a look. I liked the one we saw, but we have a long relationship with our regular vet.
