I wanted to share a little about my groom's big day, from his carefully chosen ensemble to those precious, candid moments that truly captured his emotions. Preparing for the big day, we put a lot of thought into his attire. He looked absolutely dashing in his classic black tuxedo. We opted for a crisp white collared shirt, and a sleek black vest to complete the traditional look. But we wanted a pop of personality, and that came in the form of a vibrant coral bow tie – it perfectly complemented our wedding colors and added such a cheerful touch! I remember seeing a photo of a man carefully pinning the boutonnière, with its beautiful red and orange flowers, onto his lapel; it’s one of those small, perfect details that makes everything feel real. What I truly cherish are the candid shots capturing his essence. There’s a beautiful series of him seated in a cozy blue armchair. In one, he’s holding a cigar, looking directly at the camera with such confidence, and in another, he’s looking thoughtfully to the side, perhaps pondering the exciting journey ahead. These moments, where he could just be himself, really stood out. There was even a striking black and white image of his reflection in a window, a slight smile playing on his lips as he looked out – it perfectly conveyed the mix of anticipation and joy he was feeling. His close-up portraits were equally heartwarming. You could see his genuine happiness, his neatly trimmed beard and mustache adding to his refined appearance. Every time I look at those pictures, I’m reminded of how handsome and full of joy he was. Seeing him stand outside with another man in a light-colored suit, our venue's door in the background, felt like the beginning of our new chapter. For any future grooms or partners planning a wedding, my biggest advice is to truly embrace the groom's personal style and allow for those quiet, reflective moments. Choose an outfit that makes him feel comfortable and confident, whether it's a classic tuxedo or something more unique. Don't be afraid to add personal touches, like that distinctive coral bow tie or a special accessory. And most importantly, encourage him to soak in every single moment. The wedding day flies by, and those candid glimpses of emotion and style are what you’ll both treasure forever. It truly is his wedding day too, and seeing him shine made our entire celebration even more unforgettable.
