Show me your best sky picture

That particular evening, the scattered pink clouds really made the sunset glow. Learning to 'read' the clouds can help you predict when the best sky shows are about to happen. When it comes to settings, especially for phone photographers, try to manually adjust your exposure. Tapping on the brightest part of the sky on your screen can help bring out the colors without overexposing them. You might also want to try lowering your exposure slightly to deepen the blues and intensify the reds and oranges during sunset/twilight. If you have a professional mode, play with a lower ISO for cleaner images and a slightly slower shutter speed if you're trying to capture more light in fading conditions (though a tripod becomes essential then!). Finally, don't forget a little post-processing! Even subtle adjustments can make a huge difference. I often boost the saturation slightly to bring out those rich blues and oranges, adjust the contrast to make the silhouettes stand out, and maybe a touch of clarity to enhance cloud details.
