Dealing with miscarriage
I was about seven weeks pregnant….
It’s been almost one month since I experienced my first miscarriage….
For the past month I’ve felt like I’m on autopilot and am just trying to survive each day.
I wish I was better at writing down what I’ve been feeling.
I wish my body hadn’t failed you.
I wish I could have had the chance to tell you how much I love you.

Experiencing a miscarriage can be one of the most painful events in a person's life. It is estimated that about 10-20% of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, often leading to feelings of grief, loss, and confusion. During this period, it's crucial to acknowledge your feelings and allow yourself to grieve. Many find it helpful to talk about their experiences, whether with friends, family, or support groups, to process their emotions. Engaging in activities that promote mental health, such as journaling or seeking professional counseling, can also be incredibly beneficial. The journey through miscarriage varies for everyone; there is no right or wrong way to feel. It's important to know that you are not alone in this experience. Online communities and local support groups can provide a safe space to share your story and connect with others who have had similar experiences. Acknowledging the loss and memorializing it in some way, be it through planting a tree, lighting a candle, or creating a dedicated space, can be a comforting ritual for many. Remember that healing takes time, and seeking help is a sign of strength.

I know this feeling and i am so sorry you’re going through this. No woman deserves to feel this pain.
