Feed Brevard Saturdays 🤠
This week really starts to ramp up our 2026 season for Feed Brevard. Tom has been faithfully handling the food pantry the last few weeks while I was dealing with some medical issues, and I’m grateful for him. Now I’m back—one foot in front of the other—and today we’re feeding the kids’, women’s, and men’s shelters.
This year, we’re serving all the shelters in one day. We practiced this last quarter so we can build in a few rest days each month. Last year, we were spread too thin, and we’re being more intentional this year.
As many of you know, this ministry is built on servanthood. My mortgage business currently funds about 99% of the ministry. This year, my goal is to bring that down to 80% and have 20% supported by the body of Christ and the community. That would truly be a blessing. I don’t make money from ministry—I serve the Kingdom. And ultimately, God funds it all, because everything belongs to Him.

I’m also praying about launching a second Feed Brevard team to serve and disciple shelters in North Brevard. I’m looking for about five volunteers once a month.
