Stop the spiral. 🛑✨

Sometimes it’s just a bad week, but sometimes it’s something deeper. If you’ve felt like you’re walking through thick mud lately, your energy might be compromised.

Whether it’s an intentional curse or just a lot of "Evil Eye" (unintentional envy from others), you don't have to carry that weight. Spiritual hygiene is just as important as physical hygiene! 🧼🧿

Swipe through to see the common signs and a simple "egg cleanse" method you can do at home.

My favorite quick fix: A salt scrub in the shower followed by a "Return to Sender" visualization. It works wonders for clearing the "fog."

... Read moreI totally get that feeling of being stuck in a 'spiral' – it's like everything's going wrong, and you just can't seem to catch a break. For me, it often starts with feeling unusually tired, having a string of small misfortunes, or even those weird, unsettling nightmares the OCR mentioned. It's more than just a bad mood; it feels like a heavy cloak of negative energy dragging you down, impacting everything from your productivity to your relationships. You know, when even your houseplants start looking sad, like the 'Dead Plants' sign hinted at in the OCR, it really makes you wonder if something deeper is at play. This is exactly why I've leaned into spiritual hygiene. Just like we shower daily to keep our bodies clean, our energetic bodies need regular clearing too, especially when we feel that spiral starting. It’s about consciously removing the energetic gunk that accumulates from daily stresses, other people's 'evil eye' (even unintentional envy!), or just general low vibrations in our environment. When I feel myself dipping into that negative cycle, beyond the salt scrub and visualization I mentioned earlier, I love incorporating a simple yet powerful ritual: a cleansing bath. This is perfect for those times when you feel that 'heavy' feeling or constant fatigue. Here’s how I do it: Set the Intention: As the tub fills with warm water, I visualize all the negative energy, bad luck, and any feelings of being 'stuck' or 'spiraling' dissolving away. I might light a candle and say a little affirmation, like, 'I release all that no longer serves me.' Add Cleansing Ingredients: I usually add a generous handful of Epsom salts or sea salt – salt is amazing for absorbing negativity. Sometimes I'll add a few drops of purifying essential oils like frankincense or sage, or even some dried rosemary or basil from my kitchen. These aren't just for scent; they carry powerful cleansing properties. Soak and Release: I spend at least 15-20 minutes soaking. During this time, I actively imagine the water pulling all the unwanted energy from my aura and body. I focus on my breath, inhaling positive, fresh energy and exhaling anything heavy or stagnant. This helps with that 'Constant Fatigue' and 'Heavy Feeling' mentioned in the signs. Drain and Declare: As the water drains, I visualize all that negativity flowing down the drain with it, declaring aloud (or in my head), 'I am cleansed. I am renewed. I am protected.' Re-energize: After the bath, I make sure to re-energize by moisturizing with an uplifting lotion, drinking some water, and maybe even doing a quick meditation to ground myself. This simple ritual can be a game-changer for breaking that 'Sudden Bad Luck' streak and stopping the spiral before it takes over completely. It's not about magic tricks; it's about consciously taking back your power and maintaining your energetic well-being, much like you would your physical health. Give it a try next time you feel that familiar downward pull!
