How an ex-friend of mine drove me away
I’ve been active on YouTube with content creation for almost 15 years. I’ve seen friends come and go that I became connected with because of the platform. Some people have been civil with me through and through, while others have behaved like total lunatics.
I’ve had a few that have driven me away, as expected, but one that is being brought up today (who I’ll be referring to as PG) has really caused me nothing but stress over the years.
Years back, I became friends with PG through our mutual love for professional wrestling. PG is 15 years older than me and seemed cool at first, but then 2020 rolled into 2021. As the year of our global pandemic rolled into another, there were issues arising. I was starting to become targeted on YouTube and other social media platforms by trolls who had issues with PG. It turns out that he was actively engaging with trolls on a constant basis, while also bringing up myself and others within his drama, resulting in myself and others becoming targets due to our association with PG at the time.
Despite the targeted trolling, stalking, and harassment, I was the one person out of that inner circle that refrained from making content and responding to the trolls in order to try to wait out these antics in hopes that they’d dissipate on their own.
Well, that didn’t work.
One of PG’s biggest issues was that he would not stop engaging with these trolls, no matter what. I remember very vividly having nights where I’d be at work (3rd shift) and I’d check my phone at 3 am during my lunch break, only to see PG blowing up my inbox with conversations about trolls. This happened, a lot.
Even when I kept telling him to shut up about the trolls and to stop giving them attention, he never listened. A guy that’s 15 years older than me didn’t have the wisdom and common sense to shut his mouth because he can’t let things go and always has to get the final word in every conflict, despite the fact that conflicts with trolls never end. When you throw gasoline on a fire, it will keep burning.
So my annoyance with PG was growing due to his immature behavior online, his refusal to listen to advice/criticism, and bothering me at 3 am about a subject that I was tired of constantly being forced into my inbox on a daily basis.
It’s also ironic that PG claims that he’s got a life and always has things to do, yet he has time to fight with trolls all the time and bothering me at a pretty odd time to complain about people that he’s actively engaging with.
And then things got worse.
After a while, myself and others had our privacy invaded by these trolls. Our personal addresses and phone numbers were found by these people, which would be used against us. I had numerous instances where the trolls were calling/texting my number (I still have one of the voicemails 2 years later), my number was linked to orders that were being made to other addresses to frame me, and things were being sent to my house. More specifically, religious literature (Christian pamphlet and the Quran) and multiple instances of pizza being sent to my house without my consent. All because people were angry that I was friends with PG and his antics weren’t helping that situation.
You then get to October 2023, where I hit my breaking point. After PG was confronted on a live stream (which I saw the next morning after work), I was irate with PG for how he conducted himself and what I heard being spoken of in that stream. I had a call with him (which I recorded for personal purposes) and I just verbally laid into him for how he presented himself in that stream, his ongoing problematic behavior, his refusal to accept responsibility for his actions, his denial that his antics were causing harm to his friends via the trolls, and more. The next day, I saw something that was the final straw.
I was shown a screenshot of a comment he made on Discord where he wished that multiple friends of mine would lose their lives via COVID, just because they were done with his behavior. I blocked him on everything after that and made a video, denouncing him as a friend, which he then later wished for me to lose my life via a terminal illness as a response.
Now you get to present day because problems have hit again.
I released my Coming Out video on June 1st and I was recently made aware that PG was making comments on YouTube, which were disparaging against my sexuality. I know he was being discriminatory about it due to his vocabulary that was also used to target a friend of mine, who is also in the LGBTQIA+ community. I then came up with a video idea that I had done to another ex-friend in the past (which I’ll discuss in a future post).
I made a video on my Alabama stalker where I made a satirical apology video towards him, which was very well received by my audience. I decided that I wanted to do a similar video to PG. Before the video went public, he made a long and drawn out “rant” video about putting drama in the past, which he has said and gone back on more times than I can count. In his video, he told me to go ahead and post my video because he won’t bother watching it.
Fast forward to today and he has yet again proven himself to be a pathological liar. He shared my video on his community tab to try to trash talk it, he ran his mouth about me multiple times in his video that I mentioned a moment ago, and he has tried to get the video flagged down. He already filed 3 privacy complaints (which haven’t achieved anything) on that video and 1 on my video from 3 years ago where I cut ties with him. So he said he wouldn’t watch my video, yet he bad mouths it and has been trying to get it flagged down. And it also shows his hypocrisy.
He can make videos where he takes shots at people on YouTube, yet he resorts to flagging people when they do the same thing to him because his ego Is more fragile than sugar glass. Why is it ok for him to make videos on others, but he resorts to trying to get someone taken down when they give him a taste of his own medicine?
The video still stands as of this post and I’ve also backed the video up on a few other websites. Bitchute, Odysee, Rumble, and Dailymotion (Facebook will also be a future option). I won’t let a 48-year old lowlife try to censor me. He claimed that I was a fake friend to him, yet I know that I was a better friend to hm than he was to me. I tried to give him advice to open his eyes about his behavior, yet he refused to listen. All he did was cause me stress.
He even said in his video that he doesn’t want me to flirt with him. Two things there PG:
1. I already have a boyfriend who has been amazing to me and legitimately makes me happier than you could possibly ever make any person on this planet.
2. You’re got the face of concrete that was broken with a jackhammer, you’ve got the sex appeal of a wet mop, and the charisma of raw sewage. I’d rather sit on a cucumber, rather than lust after your hideous ass.
You’re unattractive on both the inside and the outside. If being unattractive was a crime, you would’ve been given a life sentence before the doctor could’v cut your umbilical cord.
Times like this make me wonder how I manage to find people such as PG that just can’t stop being highly toxic individuals. If he can’t stand the heat that he causes, then he needs to get out of the kitchen because I’m cooking. If you can’t handle backlash for your actions PG, then get off YouTube and find something more productive to do with your life because you’re on a path to nowhere.

Maintaining healthy online friendships can be especially challenging within the dynamic and often impersonal environment of social media platforms like YouTube. This story highlights how associating with a toxic individual can lead to significant emotional distress and privacy invasions. PG's behavior, including constant engagement with internet trolls, jeopardized the safety and well-being of the author and their friends, manifesting in stalking, harassment, personal information leaks, and even malicious acts such as unwarranted deliveries to the author’s home. This narrative underscores the importance of recognizing red flags in digital relationships—such as refusal to heed advice, continual antagonism towards detractors, and disregard for others’ boundaries—that can exacerbate conflicts and draw innocent parties into harmful drama. PG’s actions, including making discriminatory comments targeting the author’s sexuality and their LGBTQIA+ friends, reveal how toxic behavior extends beyond interpersonal disputes to affect broader social issues, like acceptance and respect for diversity. Content creators especially must balance engagement and exposure with protecting their mental health and privacy. Online harassment—including doxing, trolling, and threatening messages—remains prevalent and damaging. The author’s steadfast choice to not retaliate against trolls initially reflects a strategy to avoid fueling negativity, yet PG’s opposite approach aggravated the situation. This contrast exemplifies common dilemmas faced by influencers navigating conflict online. The escalation to threats, both in wishing harm related to COVID-19 and terminal illness, as well as targeted discriminatory remarks, denote severe boundary violations. Such toxicity can have lasting psychological impacts, highlighting the necessity for platforms and creators to implement effective moderation and support mechanisms to safeguard community members. The author’s decision to publicly address the toxic friendship through videos and cross-platform backups illustrates a resilient stance against censorship and attempts to suppress truth, reinforcing the value of transparency and standing up against toxicity. It also signals how creators can reclaim agency by exposing harmful behaviors to raise awareness and protect others. Ultimately, this case serves as a cautionary tale about the profound influence toxic individuals can wield within online spaces and the importance of setting firm personal boundaries, fostering supportive networks, and advocating for respectful discourse, especially in communities as diverse and vibrant as YouTube and the broader social media landscape.
