Embarrassingly Small Step That Changes Everything

I heard something that stayed with me: people often don’t change because the first steps are so small they feel embarrassing — like they don’t count.

The story was about someone who wouldn’t leave their bedroom. The first “step” wasn’t cleaning the room or fixing life overnight. It was simply plugging in the vacuum. The next day, plugging it in again. The next day, turning it on. No pressure to do it all at once — just practicing the act of showing up.

By the end of 30 days, the room was clean and the person was back in the world.

It reminded me: real change is often built through tiny, gentle actions that teach your system it’s safe to move forward again.

Sometimes it’s not “change your life.” Sometimes it’s just opening a notepad and writing one sentence.

What’s feeding your soul today? 🧡
