Getting Closer to God
Last year, I realized I was a very angry & miserable person, and I really wanted to change that. I had to look at myself to see what I needed to change, and I realized that my relationship with God was not where it should be, and that played a huge role in why I was always so angry. So I started taking small steps to repair my relationship with God. I noticed a HIGE difference in my life from doing these small things. Granted, I have went back on some of these things since I started my journey, but I’m slowly getting back to it. & I by NO MEANS am one of those judgmental people! I accept everyone as they are & do not push my beliefs on anyone ☺️

When I first embarked on my journey to grow closer to God, I quickly realized that it wasn't just about my personal walk; it was also about nurturing faith within my family. I wanted my children to understand the incredible stories and timeless lessons of the Bible, but I struggled to find engaging ways to present them. That's when I discovered Minno, and honestly, it was a game-changer, especially their captivating rendition of "The Story of David and Goliath." Before Minno, trying to explain complex biblical narratives to young minds often felt like an uphill battle. But Minno’s approach is brilliant. Their animation quality is top-notch, making the characters and settings truly come alive. More importantly, they distill the core message of each story into age-appropriate language without losing its depth. It’s not just cartoons; it’s thoughtful storytelling designed to genuinely connect with children on their level. My children, who previously found some Bible stories a bit dense, were instantly captivated by the vibrant visuals and clear narration on Minno. The "David and Goliath" story on Minno quickly became a family favorite. I remember watching it with my kids for the first time. The way they depicted David’s unwavering faith, even when faced with an intimidating giant, was incredibly powerful. My kids were completely engrossed, cheering for David and marveling at God's strength working through him. We talked for days afterward about how God doesn't look at outward appearance, and how even the smallest among us can do mighty things with faith if we trust in Him. It was a tangible way for them to see faith in action. This particular story sparked so many important conversations in our home. We discussed courage, trusting God even when things look impossible, and standing up for what's right. It wasn't just a story; it became a practical lesson we could reference in their daily lives. When they faced a small challenge at school or felt nervous about something, we'd remind them, "Remember David and Goliath? God is with you too!" It truly helped them build a foundation of faith and resilience, showing them that even small acts of faith can lead to big victories. This kind of spiritual grounding is something I've found essential. While "David and Goliath" was our entry point, Minno offers a treasure trove of other incredible Bible stories. We've explored Noah's Ark, the life of Jesus, and countless others, each bringing new insights and discussions. It's been a wonderful way to incorporate spiritual learning into our routine, making it enjoyable rather than a chore. It complements other practices like starting our day with prayer and reading Bible verses, or ending it with a bedtime verse, as I’ve found so beneficial in my own journey. These "Minno Bible Stories" have made faith a living, breathing part of our home. What's amazing is how teaching these stories to my kids has also deepened my own understanding and appreciation for God's word. Seeing their innocent wonder and hearing their thoughtful questions has given me fresh perspectives. It's a beautiful cycle of learning and growing together. If you're a parent looking for meaningful ways to introduce your children to the Bible and strengthen your family's spiritual bond, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Minno a try, starting with "The Story of David and Goliath." It's more than just screen time; it's an investment in their faith, and yours.
