Okay, this is a loaded one.

This is my first digital read. It’s also the first book I’ve read in less than 30 days. It took me 12 days exactly (would’ve been 8 but I had homework to do😭).

I enjoyed the story but some of the way they talked was cringe to me. Like I’d frown my face at a person if they said some of these things to me.

HOWEVER …

I did love the love & determination Kildare has to get his wife back. There were so many surprises & things that I didn’t even see coming. You can’t skim this one or you’ll miss it. It’s like everyone in this story played an important role even if it was small & they didn’t know it. Overall, I did enjoy it & it definitely helped me get out of my book slump.
