Haven’t posted in a minute because I’m back in the city and life moves at a different pace here. However, we were able to take some time to enjoy the amazing eats at DanDan. Not once but twice this weekend, with the highlight being this incredible Dim Sum brunch with @Chef Viet Pham and Chef Dan Jacobs. Huge appreciation for the focus on local, farm fresh ingredients and sourcing from baddies like @Organic Valley (video coming soon from my visit to their farm store!). From service to chefs to sourcing, DanDan is doing it right. Thanks for having us and letting us claim our little corner table. 💕

Their vegetable offerings included vibrant items like som tam with papaya, jicama, and long beans tossed in chili and herbs, highlighting how fresh farm produce can elevate everyday meals. As someone who loves exploring flavors rooted in local culture, this brunch was a perfect example of how Milwaukee’s food scene is evolving. The chefs' skill in balancing richly spiced dishes alongside fresh, crisp pickles and herb-infused vermicelli showed thoughtful culinary craftsmanship.
