This is my first book by Ana Huang and it did not disappoint! I'll start by pointing out that this was a very spicy read

But I appreciated that it was still very much a plot driven storyline. This first book in the series really explores themes of childhood trauma, vengence, vulnerability, and trust. And given the tropes found throughout the story, the angst and tension is just oozing off the page

Ava's Red Velvet Cookies 🍪

I'd suggest baking these up if you ever need to seduce the single billionaire who lives next door. (Or anyone really)

Ingredients:

1- red velvet cake mix

2- eggs

1/2 cup- oil (light olive or vegetable)

1/2 cup - white chocolate chips

1/4 cup - mini semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

-Preheat oven to 350F

-Mix all ingredients together until well combined in mixing bowl.

-Cover mixing bowl and place in refrigerator for 30mins-hour.

-After dough is chilled, scoop 2 inch balls onto baking sheet. Top with a couple extra chocolate chips.

-Bake on center rack for 8-10 mins. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 mins before removing.
