This is Commander Fear.

Hey everyone! It's been a long time coming, but I'm absolutely delighted to share more about Commander Fear, the very essence of my brand. You've seen her, you know she's an alien and faceless, but there's so much more to her story and how she came to be. When I first set out to create a character to represent the brand, I knew I wanted something truly unique and memorable. It wasn’t just about drawing a cool design; it was about encapsulating a feeling, a concept. I started with colors, playing around with different palettes that resonated with the brand's core message. It was a process of trial and error, sketching ideas, and seeing what felt right. Gradually, Commander Fear began to take shape, emerging from these initial explorations. Her faceless nature wasn't an accident; it was a deliberate choice. Initially, I had given her features, but something felt off. I wanted to change her to something a bit more digestible, something that could project a wider range of emotions or interpretations without being constrained by a fixed expression. Removing her features actually made her more enigmatic and powerful, allowing her to truly embody the abstract concept of "the fear inside you" without a literal face of fear. This decision really solidified her identity and made her the perfect representative for my vision. Once her core design was finalized, the fun really began with exploring how Commander Fear could exist in the physical world. I even did like business cards featuring her, creating a distinct visual identity. We've made game cards, pieces that are supposed to be a coin, and even postcards. Each item was a step in bringing her from a digital concept to something tangible. I love seeing her on these different mediums, each showcasing a facet of her character. And yes, for those who've been asking, we've also done a shirt with her face shape on it! It's always exciting to see how people react to the merchandise.
