End of 2024 reminder
This I think needs to be reminded. What’s shared on social media is never REALITY. My battle with MS, depression, and anger about what my life has turned to has not been an easy one. I survived 2024. I spent the year focused on me. Healing from PTSD dealing with bad friendships and really needing to evaluate who should and shouldn’t be in my close circle. I decided this year was the year to just be isolated a bit more not really force myself to go out. Read books and just revamp my condo. I survived 2024. I’m hoping 2025 will honestly be less of a battle but honestly even if it’s not. I can honestly say BRING IT THE EFF ON!
As we approach the end of 2024, it's essential to recognize that everyone's journey looks different. Many will share highlights of their year, but the reality for some is merely surviving each day. Mental health challenges like depression and PTSD can make life feel overwhelming, and it's okay to acknowledge that struggle. This year, taking time for self-reflection, whether through reading or reevaluating relationships, can be an essential part of healing. Remember, there’s strength in vulnerability, and sometimes, the greatest achievement is simply making it through another year. As 2025 approaches, set your intentions on self-care and be kind to yourself for the battles fought and survived.
