Control Less, Breathe More
Some things were never ours to carry. Today, I’m releasing the need to control every outcome and trusting that what’s meant for me will meet me in its own time. 🤍
What are you choosing to release today? #AcceptingWhatYouCantControl #TheGentlePause #ChoosePeace #Overthinking #WomenOver40
In my personal experience, learning to control less and breathe more has been a transformative journey. Early on, I often found myself overwhelmed by the urge to manage every aspect of my life, from work projects to personal relationships. This constant need to control led to stress and sleepless nights. However, embracing a mindset of acceptance changed everything. I began practicing mindful breathing exercises daily, which helped center my thoughts and reduce anxiety about uncertain outcomes. One notable change was when I stopped trying to micromanage situations beyond my influence. Instead, I focused on what I could control—my reactions and mindset. This shift allowed me to release unnecessary burdens, much like the idea that 'some things were never ours to carry.' By trusting that what is meant for me will arrive in its own time, I’ve experienced a significant decrease in overthinking, which was once a constant companion. For women over 40, this message resonates deeply. Life’s unpredictability can feel especially challenging during this stage, but choosing peace by accepting what can’t be controlled opens doors to emotional freedom and resilience. I encourage anyone feeling weighed down by life's demands to take a gentle pause, breathe, and remind themselves that releasing control is not giving up—it’s choosing a healthier path forward.
