encouraging word of the week:✨curiosity✨

✨prism prompt check-in✨

if you haven't had a chance to exercise this weekly prism prompt on CURIOSITY, there's still time!

did you know that asking God questions is something He cherishes? it’s true! He values curiosity and celebrates an inquisitive mind because He purposefully created us to be that way. God not only knows every question we think, have thought, or want answers to, but He’s also deeply aware of the emotions that accompany the questions.

in the midst of curiosity, it’s important to remember that every healthy relationship is built on frequent communication, and it’s no different with God. the more we go to Him with our questions, even if they come with frustration, the more we build intimacy and strengthen our relationship with Him. in psalm 25:14, we read, ‘the secret counsel of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and He reveals His covenant to them.’ developing your covenant and friendship with God will open your ears, eyes, and heart to the secrets He wants to share with you.

He doesn’t promise the timing of when questions will be answered, but He does promise that the more we lean on, and trust in Him, the more our relationship with Him flourishes.

for the next week, whenever you find yourself alone, take a moment to have a conversation with God. you can journal your thoughts or simply close your eyes and pray, but the Lord knows you have questions, and He wants you to ask them. don’t hold back; bring Him everything that’s on your mind. there’s truly nothing He can’t handle. after sharing your questions, listen for a response. if you hear something right away, treasure every revelation as your curiosity deepens your covenant with Him.

if you don’t hear Him speak right away, ask Holy Spirit to strengthen your trust in God’s timing. He will answer when it’s best. until then, remember that your inquisitiveness and desire to know is completely celebrated by your God.
