what comes to mind when you hear the word “influencer”? if you were to make a list, how comfortable would you be placing your name on it?
whether you recognize it or not, God calls you a woman of influence. your life was designed to positively affect the world around you for His glory.
from society’s standpoint, influence is often tied to status, wealth, or visibility. but in the Kingdom, influence flows from relationship. it’s as you live deeply connected to God—and to the people around you—that an influential life is formed.
one of the clearest biblical examples of a woman of influence is esther. though she was young and had experienced great pain and loss, her presence/life changed the outcome of an entire nation. it was not the “platform of a queen” that brought the success, as her earthly authority was very limited—it was the favor and blessing that came from her relationship with God.
no matter where you find yourself today, you—like esther—have been entrusted with favor from the King. as you continue to cultivate connection with God and with others, your life will begin to reflect that influence more clearly.
before stepping away from this prompt, take a moment and invite Holy Spirit to speak to you. ask Him: where have You granted me favor? and how have You called me to steward it? write down what He reveals, and revisit it throughout the week—until you begin to see yourself as He does.

Reflecting on the concept of influence from a spiritual perspective has truly shifted my understanding of what it means to make a difference. Often, society pushes the idea that influence requires fame, wealth, or an extensive platform, but this article beautifully highlights how genuine influence is rooted in our relationship with God and others. I found that when I shifted my focus from seeking recognition to cultivating a deeper connection with God, my daily interactions began to carry more meaning. Like Esther, whose favor came from her closeness with God rather than her royal title, I started to see how small acts of kindness and encouragement could profoundly affect the people around me. One key insight I gained is the importance of stewardship. Recognizing the favor God has granted each of us means taking responsibility for the way we use our influence. This doesn't require a grand stage—just a heart attuned to God’s guidance and a willingness to serve others authentically. Moreover, the encouragement to invite the Holy Spirit to reveal where we have favor is powerful. I began journaling my reflections each day and asking where I am called to be a positive force. This practice has helped me become more aware of opportunities to bless others, whether in my family, workplace, or community. John 15:5 reminds me that without abiding in Christ, my efforts are fruitless. Staying connected through prayer and reflection not only sustains my spiritual life but also enriches the impact I can have as a woman of influence. Ultimately, influence shaped by relationship invites us to be agents of transformation in ordinary spaces. By embracing this truth, I feel empowered to live intentionally, knowing that even the smallest acts aligned with God’s purpose multiply into significant change.
