Morning Devotion For You✨🌸🥳 Read below 👇🏿
In a world that feels loud, uncertain, and heavy, many of us are running—but the real question is where are we running to?
Some run to money.
Some run to people.
Some run to distractions, substances, success, or silence.
But Scripture reminds us of a truth that never changes:
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”
— Proverbs 18:10
God never said life would be easy, but He promised protection, refuge, and peace for those who run to Him. His name isn’t just a word—it represents His character, His power, His authority, and His faithfulness. When everything else feels unstable, His name stands firm.
When fear tries to overtake you—run to God.
When anxiety won’t let your mind rest—run to God.
When grief feels unbearable—run to God.
When temptation pulls at your heart—run to God.
When you don’t have the answers—run to God.
Don’t run away from Him—run to Him.
The world may offer temporary comfort, but only God provides lasting safety. People may fail you, but God never will. Feelings change, seasons shift, but the Lord remains the same.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
— Psalm 46:1
You don’t have to have it all together to run to Him.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to clean yourself up first.
Just come.
“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28
Running to God doesn’t mean the storm instantly stops—but it means you’re no longer facing it alone. His presence becomes your shelter. His Word becomes your anchor. His peace guards your heart.
“The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”
— Psalm 9:9
Today, I encourage you: stop running in circles and start running to the One who saves, heals, restores, and protects. There is safety in His name. There is peace in His presence. There is hope in His promises.
Run to God.
Stay in His presence.
Rest in His name.
He is your strong tower. 🏰✝️
