You Were Designed With Purpose — Here’s How 🤩 🤍🌸
Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, “What is my spiritual gift?”
A lot of people think spiritual gifts are only for pastors, prophets, or “super spiritual” Christians… but that’s not what the Bible teaches.
Every single believer has been given a gift by God.
Not some. Not a few.
ALL.
But here’s where many people get confused…
There’s a difference between talent and spiritual gifts.
A talent can be developed through practice, training, and discipline. It’s often something you’re born with or naturally inclined toward.
But a spiritual gift is different.
It doesn’t come from genetics.
It comes from the Holy Spirit.
A talent may impress people…
but a spiritual gift carries grace, power, and impact.
When someone operates in their spiritual gift, something shifts.
Atmospheres change.
People are encouraged.
Hearts are convicted.
Lives are healed.
Faith is strengthened.
It’s not just ability…
it’s God moving through them.
⸻
📖 The Bible reveals THREE categories of spiritual gifts:
1. Gifts from the Father (Motivational Gifts)
(Romans 12:6)
These shape how you serve and function daily:
• Leadership
• Teaching
• Encouragement
• Giving
• Mercy
• Serving
These gifts influence your personality, your passion, and how you naturally respond to people and situations.
⸻
2. Gifts from Jesus (Ministry Gifts)
(Ephesians 4:11)
These are callings given to build and equip the Church:
• Apostle
• Prophet
• Evangelist
• Pastor
• Teacher
These aren’t just roles — they are divine assignments meant to develop others and expand God’s kingdom.
⸻
3. Gifts from the Holy Spirit (Manifestation Gifts)
(1 Corinthians 12:4)
These are supernatural and operate as the Spirit leads:
• Wisdom
• Knowledge
• Faith
• Healing
• Miracles
• Prophecy
• Discernment
• Tongues
These gifts reveal God’s power in real time.
⸻
🔥 Here’s the key:
Your gift is not meant to stay hidden.
God didn’t place something inside of you for it to sit unused.
➡️ God deposits the gift
➡️ You discover the gift
➡️ You develop the gift
➡️ Then you deploy the gift
And here’s something powerful:
Gifts grow when you use them.
You don’t wait until you’re perfect.
You grow as you serve.
⸻
When you operate in your spiritual gift, something supernatural happens:
God adds His “super” to your natural.
What you do becomes more than just effort…
It becomes impactful, anointed, and purposeful.
⸻
So don’t compare your gift to someone else’s.
Your gift is unique.
Your assignment is specific.
Your calling is intentional.
Stay within the grace God gave you.
Develop your character (fruit of the Spirit).
And don’t be afraid to release what God put inside of you.
⸻
✨ You are not empty.
✨ You are not behind.
✨ You are not overlooked.
You are gifted.
Now the question is…
Are you using it? 🔥

One of the most fulfilling experiences in my spiritual journey has been discovering and embracing my unique spiritual gifts. Initially, I, like many others, thought these gifts were reserved for a select few – pastors, prophets, or deeply spiritual people. But as I studied Romans, Ephesians, and Corinthians, I realized that spiritual gifts are given to every believer by the Holy Spirit. This understanding transformed how I viewed my role in my community and church. At first, I confused natural talents, which I developed through years of practice, with spiritual gifts that are imparted by the Holy Spirit. Recognizing the difference was pivotal. Spiritual gifts are not about personal achievement or genetics—they are about God’s grace flowing through you. When I began to pray earnestly and serve in areas where I sensed the Spirit’s leading, I saw real changes—not only in my abilities but also in the atmosphere around me. People were encouraged, and my faith was strengthened. The journey to using these gifts isn’t always straightforward. It involves discovering what you’ve been given, developing these gifts through practice and spiritual growth, and courageously deploying them even before feeling 'perfect.' My encouragement is to lean into the gifts God has allocated for you—whether it’s leadership, teaching, healing, or encouragement—and allow them to grow as you serve others. This process brought me closer to God and helped me find deeper meaning in my daily life. Moreover, I found peace in knowing that each gift is unique and intentional. Comparing myself to others only detracted from my calling. Instead, by focusing on developing my character and the fruit of the Spirit, I became more effective at releasing what God has placed inside me. The key is to remember that your gift is not meant to be hidden. Use it, and watch how God adds His 'super' to your natural abilities, making your impact supernatural and purposeful. Whether you feel gifted in leadership, mercy, prophecy, teaching, or healing, your contribution matters. Spiritual gifts are powerful tools to minister to God’s people and expand His kingdom. So I encourage you: take time to pray, seek guidance, and reflect on how you can actively engage your gifts today. Start small, be faithful, and let God do the rest. Your purpose was divinely designed, and your gifts are waiting to be unleashed.
